Your LinkedIn profile picture is doing more work than you think. Before a potential client reads your bio, before they check your credentials, they’ve already formed an impression based on that small image. The same goes for your company website, your email signature, and every digital touchpoint where your face represents your business.

News Anchor head shot

A professional corporate headshot isn’t vanity—it’s a practical business tool. It signals competence, approachability, and attention to detail. A poorly lit selfie or a cropped vacation photo signals the opposite.

Rob Andrew Photography provides corporate headshot services throughout San Diego County, from our fully-equipped Vista studio to on-location sessions at your office. Whether you need a single executive portrait or headshots for your entire team, we deliver polished, professional images with quick turnaround.

What This Service Includes

Every corporate headshot session is designed to give you images you can use immediately across all your professional platforms.

Standard Session Deliverables:

A typical individual session runs 30-45 minutes and includes multiple background options, real-time image review so you can see what’s working, and professional retouching on your final selections. Most clients receive 2-3 final edited images—enough for LinkedIn, your company website, press materials, and a backup option for future use.

Professional Retouching:

All final images include retouching that enhances without overdoing it. We correct temporary blemishes, even out skin tones, and make subtle adjustments that help you look your best while still looking like yourself. The goal is “polished professional,” not “obvious Photoshop.”

Multiple Setups:

Even in a 30-minute session, we typically shoot 2-3 different setups. This might mean a clean white background for LinkedIn, a darker option for your website, and a more casual pose for internal communications. Different contexts call for different images, and one session can cover them all.

Team Photography:

For companies photographing multiple employees, we maintain consistent lighting and style across all images. This matters when headshots appear together on an “About Us” page—visual consistency makes your team look cohesive and professional. We can photograph 8-12 people per hour depending on complexity, making it efficient to update your entire company’s headshots in a single session.

File Delivery:

You receive high-resolution files suitable for print, plus web-optimized versions sized for LinkedIn, email signatures, and social media. Files are delivered via online gallery within 5-7 business days, often sooner.

Who This Service Is For

Corporate headshots serve anyone whose professional image matters to their business. In San Diego, that covers a lot of ground.

Executives and Business Owners:

If you’re the face of your company, your headshot appears everywhere—investor decks, press releases, conference materials, podcast guest bios. A single strong image gets years of use.

Professional Service Providers:

Attorneys, financial advisors, consultants, real estate agents, and medical professionals all benefit from headshots that convey trustworthiness and expertise. Your clients are often making significant decisions based partly on whether they feel comfortable with you.

Job Seekers and Career Changers:

LinkedIn reports that profiles with professional photos receive significantly more views than those without. If you’re actively networking or job hunting in San Diego’s competitive market, a quality headshot is a baseline expectation.

Teams and Departments:

HR departments, marketing teams, and office managers regularly coordinate headshot sessions for new hires or company-wide updates. We work with San Diego companies of all sizes, from startups to established firms, to keep their team pages current and consistent.

Actors and Talent:

San Diego’s growing entertainment industry means more demand for casting-ready headshots. While theatrical headshots have different requirements than corporate portraits, we handle both.

The Process

Here’s what to expect when you book a corporate headshot session.

1. Booking and Prep

Contact me with details about what you need—individual or team session, preferred location, timeline, and any specific requirements. I’ll confirm availability and send a preparation guide covering wardrobe recommendations (solid colors photograph best, avoid busy patterns), grooming tips, and what to expect on shoot day.

2. Session Day

If you’re coming to our Vista studio, parking is right at the door—no hauling across a parking structure. The space includes a client area where you can check your appearance before we start. For on-location sessions, we arrive early to set up professional, studio quality lighting .

Sessions start with a few test shots to dial in lighting and help you get comfortable. Most people feel awkward in front of a camera at first; that’s normal. We work through it quickly with direction on posture, expression, and where to look. You’ll review images on a monitor throughout the session so you know exactly what you’re getting.

3. Image Selection

Within 48 hours, you’ll receive an online proofing gallery with all usable images from your session. Select your favorites for final retouching. If you’re unsure which images work best, we’re happy to provide recommendations. For expedited processing, some people like to choose on the spot.

4. Final Delivery

Retouched images are delivered within 3-5 business days. Rush delivery is available if you’re working against a deadline—just let us know when booking. You receive both high-resolution and web-optimized versions of each final image.

Timeline Note:

Most clients book 1-2 weeks in advance, though we can often accommodate shorter notice. Team sessions for larger groups should be scheduled 2-3- weeks ahead or more to ensure availability.

Why Location Matters

Our photography studio is located in Vista, in the heart of North County San Diego. The 1,200 square foot space includes a 19-foot seamless white backdrop, professional Profoto lighting, a client lounge, and a changing area. For straightforward corporate headshots, the studio offers controlled conditions that guarantee consistent results regardless of weather or time of day.

On-Location Options:

Not every headshot needs to happen in a studio. We bring portable professional lighting to offices throughout San Diego County—downtown San Diego, La Jolla, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido, and everywhere in between. On-location sessions work well for companies that want to photograph employees during the workday with minimal disruption, or for executives who prefer an environmental portrait in their actual workspace.

Coverage Area:

We serve all of San Diego County with no travel fees. For sessions outside the county, contact us for a custom quote.
